If you've heard of or experienced the Vagina Monologues, you'll have some idea of what my Shave Slowly Monologues are like.
My books begin with stories that I record. In the case of my memoirs, they are reflections on real events taking place in my life. With respect to my fiction, the characters and scenes come from the creative landscape inside my mind, much like a painter working on a canvas or a sculptor wielding a chisel.
During my Shave Slowly Monologues, I'm acting out one of my memoir recordings, usually, but not always, reflecting a particular theme. My monologues are designed to be both entertaining and inspirational.
I'm now taking appointments to present my Shave Slowly Monologues, during which I will also field questions and talk about my book, Shave Slowly.
